Kasia Swinarska was born in Gdansk in 1969. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk after studying at the Faculty of Painting. She gained her degree in 1994 at the workshop of Professor Kiejstut Bereżnicki, with a specialization in Lithography at the workshop of Professor Czesław Tumielewicz.
